The Chancel Choir at St. John’s United Church of Christ will sing “Dazzling as the Sun” by Gwyneth Walker at the 10:15 a.m. service on February 27. All worshipers are asked to wear a mask while inside all church buildings. St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, 211 S. Main St., North Wales celebrates Sunday, Feb. 27, with a Zoom service at 9:30 a.m. and in-person indoor services in the sanctuary with communion at 8:30 and 10:30 a.m. Contact the church office 215-6994604 for the Zoom link. All are welcome who are comfortable indoors; follow CDC guidelines and wear a mask until further notice. Sunday school and youth group will be in the Fellowship Hall at 10:30. Raabe will usher in the season of Lent on Ash Wednesday with services on Wednesday, March 2 at noon and 7:30 p.m. Both include the imposition of ashes and Holy Communion. Midweek Lenten services the next five Wednesdays are also at 7:30 p.m.; contemplative in tone, they will echo themes from the parable of the Prodigal Son in Luke 15 and seek a deeper understanding of sin, what it means to be lost, and how hope can be redefined. The Church of the Holy Spirit of Harleysville (Episcopal), 2871Barndt Road at the corner of Sumneytown Pike, Upper Salford, holds inperson communion services at 8and 10:15a.m. on Sundays, with Covid protocols requiring mask wearing. Trinity Lutheran Church,1000 W. Main St., Lansdale, will hold a Cross+Gen “DIY Lent-in-aBag” event on February 27, 9:45-10:30a.m. in Hyson Hall.
