Presentati­on of Our Lord Ukrainian Catholic Church, 1564 Allentown Road, Lansdale, is partnering with The United Ukrainian American Relief Committee, Inc. (UUARC) to collect specific needed items to be sent to the refugees of Ukraine. Presentati­on of Our Lord will hold two donation dates for the community to contribute to this effort. Items needed include medical supplies, personal hygiene items, baby formula, diapers and wipes, adult briefs, mobility aids, towels, sheets, blankets, hand and feet warmers, newly packaged undergarme­nts and socks, and trash bags. NO CLOTHING. Financial donations are encouraged and will be accepted at the collection events. Girl Scout Troop #7295, that meets twice monthly at St. John’s United Church of Christ, will serve as greeters and bring forth the offering at the 10:15 am service on March 6. The club has been active for over 20years and is named after its founder, Betsy Albinson. Grace Lutheran Church, 40 N. Main St., Hatfield, and Pastor Nancy M. Raabe will host contemplat­ive Lenten services for the community at 7:30p.m. each Wednesday in Lent from March 9 to April 6 on the theme of “Returning” from the Parable of the Prodigal Son.
