G. Richard Zeller

G. Richard Zeller (Dick) of Lansdale, PA, formerly of Willow Grove, passed away on Tuesday, March 22, 2022, at the age of 92.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, Dick earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Drexel University in 1954. Dick was a member of the Tau Kappa Epsilon (TKE) fraternity where he made friendships that he maintained throughout his life. He then went on to marry his high school sweetheart, Joan Albert Zeller. They were “newlyweds” for 63 years, always enjoying each other’s company.

After working for several companies including IBM and General Electric, Dick decided to branch out as a small business owner. In 1970, Dick and a good friend, Jack Williams, established Telford FiftyFive Enterprises, a company specializing in material handling equipment. He took pride in how the company grew and how it is still flourishing today.

Throughout his life, Dick had a passion for living, and everything he did, he did to the fullest. He and Joan loved to travel, enjoyed good food, good music, and good martinis! For almost 40 years, they owned a house in Ocean City, NJ, where they created many wonderful family memories.

He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Joan Albert Zeller. He is survived by daughters, Cheryl Zeller Doyle ( Joseph), Deborah Zeller Reese ( Don); sister Joyce Zeller Pittman (Von, late); sister-in-law Linda Albert Feldweiser (Walter); his close friend, Jean Marie Bliss; 4 grand children (Grace, Christopher, Michael, Emily); 2 great-granddaughters (Ayla and Emma), nephews, and many cousins.

Dick lived at Brittany Pointe Estates for the last 15 years where he made many good friendships and met many hard-working, kind employees. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 2nd at 11:00 a.m. at Brittany Pointe Auditorium, 1001 South Valley Forge Road, Lansdale, PA 19446. Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00.
