Souderton picks up win over Upper Perk

SOUDERTON 5, UPPER PERK 2

Riley York, Mckenna Schroding and Kendall Clemmer each had two hits in the Indians non-league win Thursday.

Schroding and Abby Burns each knocked in two runs.

Schroding started on the mound and went five innings. She allowed two runs on six hits before Burns finished the game. Burns threw two no-hit innings with five strikeouts.

Souderton scored three runs in the top of the seventh to break a 2-2 tie. ABINGTON 5, UPPER DUBLIN 4 » The Ghosts scored two runs in the seventh inning to pick up an SOL Liberty win over the Cardinals Thursday.

Chloe Foster took the loss for Upper Dublin, allowing five unearned runs. In 6 1/3 innings she allowed one hit while striking out 15 batters to six walks.

Brianna Kesslick went 2-for-4 for the Cardinals with an RBI triple and Kaelin Penna had a two-run double.

ARCHBISHOP WOOD 15, NEUMANN-GORETTI 0 » Dakota Fanelli had two doubles, two RBI and two runs scored in the Vikings PCL win over the Saints Thursday.

Julia Yogis added four RBI and two runs scored while Maggie Devlin had three RBI and three runs scored.

Gianna Anzideo dominated in the circle, throwing a shutout with four strikeouts, one walk and three hits.

Wagner’s knocked in three runs while Brandt brought home three. PENNRIDGE 4, UPPER PERK 2 » Scoring three runs in the top of the sixth innings, the Rams pulled away for the win on Thursday. Winning pitcher Conor Flynn hurled three innings of relief, not allowing a hit and striking out five.

The Cardinals swept the Indians for an SOL American win Thursday.

Levi Leatherman had 20 assists and seven digs for Souderton. Alec Kreiser added eight digs and Kavailya Bhatt had five digs and four aces.

The Rams won 25-16, 2520 and 25-19 behind Riley Kodidek’s 30 assists, 5 blocks and 4 aces. Also standing out for Pennridge (3-0) were Thomas McKinney (11 kills, 8 digs), Jude Rotondo (9 kills, 8 digs, 2 blocks), Tyler Johnson (6 kills, 4 blocks), Nick Smith (5 kills, 5 blocks), Alex Derk (14 digs), Gavin Tirjan (6 digs) and Ty Porter (4 digs).
