Curt Henry Koster Jr., 88, of Souderton, passed away Saturday April 9, 2022. He was the beloved husband of the late Roberta Koster.

Born July 30, 1933 in WoodRidge, NJ, he was the son of the late C. Henry Koster Sr. and Dorothy (Miller) Koster.

Curt loved football and proudly played for the Wood-Ridge High School Blue Devils. He graduated from WRHS in 1951. Curt proudly served his country in the US Army. He had a decade’s long career as an executive in computer sales and marketing with RCA and Unisys. He held a private pilot’s license and loved flying and aviation. Curt

also was fond of boating and fishing. He found joy in woodworkin­g and took great pride in his skills and abilities. He and his late wife embarked on a 10 year full time RV trip, which took them to many corners of the United States. Together, they visited the entire country and they made many wonderful, life-long friends during that journey.

Curt is survived by his children, Laura Thomas (William) of Hatfield, Jill Fisher (Charles) of Bokeelia

Florida, and Richard Buthe (Sharon) of Sellersvil­le. He is also survived by his 3 grandchild­ren, Bill Thomas (Keri), Stevie Nance (Tucker), and Renee Buthe. In addition, he is survived by his sister, Marcia Lawrence of Hackettsto­wn NJ, and his aunt, Marilyn Kearns of Paramus, NJ, along with many cousins, nieces, and a nephew.

In addition to his wife and parents he was preceded in death by his son Steven Buthe.

Friends and relatives are invited to call after 10:00 on April 14th at Huff and Lakjer Funeral Home, 701 Derstine Avenue, Lansdale. A funeral service will follow, beginning at 11:00am. Interment will be at Whitemarsh Memorial Park in Ambler.
