HATBORO-HORSHAM 6, PW 3» The Hatters (2-3, 2-1) scored two runs each in the fourth and fifth innings and pulled away for the SOL Liberty win on Tuesday. Megan Mills, Abby Waeltz and Tess Kearney each collected mutliple hits with Mills leading the way with three hits. Lauryn Kane and Sam Skivol had multiple hits for the Colonials (13, 1-2) with two each. Alyssa Tooley earned the win for the Hatters, allowing seven hits and three runs over six innings, striking out seven. MOUNT ST. JOE’S 6, UPPER DUBLIN 3 » The Mount (2-4) broke the game open with five runs in the fifth inning and picked up the nonconfere­nce win on Tuesday. Emily Vinapl picked up the win with four innings of work, striking out five and allowing three hits and one run. Vinal added two doubles and an RBI. Charlotte Gale closed the game with three innings of relief, scattering six hits and two earned runs. Madden Reilly and Lizzie Tambourino each had two hits for Upper Dublin (1-5). Dakota Fanelli twirled a two-hitter with 11 strikeouts as the Vikings picked up the PCL win on Tuesday. Maura Yoos went 3-for-3 with a two-run triple, while Paige Ross doubled and drove in three runs. Also having multiple hits were Fanelli and Kiersten Reeser. Abby Windish added two RBIs, while Biz James scored twice.

Baseball

HATBORO-HORSHAM 11, ABINGTON 1 (6) » Logan Fischer was 2-for-4 with two doubles, two RBIs and a run scored as HatboroHor­sham topped Abington in six innings for its fourth straight win.

Will Bruner went 3-for-4 with a double, two RBIs and a run scored while Trey Porter finished 2-for-2 with two runs scored for the Hatters (5-2, 4-0 SOL Liberty). Jack Elwell and Ryan Toporowski both had two RBIs.

Hatboro-Horsham scored a run in the top of the first then added three in its half of the third to go up 4-0.

Abington plated a run in the bottom of the third but the Hatters answered with three more in the fourth then scored two runs in both the fifth and sixth.

CB WEST 11, QUAKERTOWN 4 » Matt Carr capped Central Bucks West’s scoring at Reading’ FirstEnerg­y Stadium with a two-run home run in the top of the seventh as the Bucks won the nonconfere­nce matchup for a third consecutiv­e victory.

Carr also doubled as he finished 3-for-5 with two RBIs and a run scored while Sam Greer was 2-for-4 with a double, three RBIs and two runs scored for West (3-1, 2-0 SOL Colonial).

Damian Thomas went 2-for-4 with a double, RBI and two run scored, Aidan Quinn was 2-for-3 with a run scored while Maxwell Grill was 2-for-3. Bill Zentmayer had two RBIs and Jackson Cunnane scored twice.

CB West broke a scoreless tie with three runs in the top of the fourth. Quakertown scored a run in the bottom of the inning but the Bucks plated five in the top of fifth for an 8-1 lead.

The Panthers pulled to within 8-4 after their three-run sixth but West responded with three of its own in the top of the seventh.

Brandon Pierce was 2-for-2 with two runs scored for Quakertown (13, 1-1 SOL Liberty) while Ethan Beil and Jake Dulis both had two RBIs.

BONNER AND PRENDERGAS­T 11, LC 0 (5) » Gino Bianco collected Lansdale Catholic’s lone hit while Bonner & Prendergas­t blew open the PCL contest with a sevenrun bottom of the third as the Friars went on to win in five innings.

PJP II 7, UPPER MERION 1 » Sophomore Blake High got the win in his first start, allowing two hits and one unearned run in four innings of work for the Golden Panthers (1-3). Noah Brandt, Chase Frantz and Nik Rubenhall went a combined 6-for-8 with 7 RBIs. Rubendall added a home run for PJP II. Brad Zielinski scattered eight hits and just two earned runs in 6 innings of work for Upper Merion (13).

DOCK 13, CALVARY CHRISTIAN 3» The Pioneers scored 13 runs on 11 hits and nine walks, stringing together multiple scoring innings on Tuesday in BAL play. Zack Frederick, Sam Laux, and Zack Neff each recorded two hits. Laux also was stellar defensivel­y with a caught stealing and pick off play. Aidan Sweeney was solid on the mound, picking up the complete game win for Dock.

Boys volleyball

SOUDERTON 3, CB SOUTH 1 » The Indians (2-4) picked up the win with a 25-14, 22-25, 25-20 and 25-22 victory on Tuesday. Nate Brown led the way with 16 kills, while JC Peacock added six kills and six aces. Tobie Lias added three kills, while Derek Gilmore had two kills. PENNRIDGE 3, NORTH PENN 1 » The Rams (5-1) dropped the first set 25-27, but then rallied in the next three sets 25-21, 25-18 and 25-19 to pick up the win on Tuesday. Riley Kodidek led the way with 42 assists, 12 digs and two blocks, while Tyler Johnson added nine kills, two blocks and four aces for the Rams. Also standing out for Pennridge were Nick Smith (8 kills, 4 blocks), Thomas McKinney (12 kills, 12 digs, 5 blocks), Jude Rotondo (14 kills), Alex Derk (14 digs, two aces) and Ty Porter (8 digs).

QUAKERTOWN 4, HATBOROHOR­SHAM 3 » The Hatters put up a good fight before dropping the SOL Liberty match on Tuesday. Nicholas Chan picked up a 6-3, 7-5 win at No. 2 singles to keep Hatboro-Horsham within reach.

CB SOUTH 7, ABINGTON 0 »

South only dropped one set en route to the victory on Tuesday. Abington’s Brendan Mo continues to impress and had the days’ best match, falling 6-2, 1-6 6-3 at No. 3 singles to Alex Dash.

HOLY GHOST 4, NORTH PENN 2 » The Knights (2-5) fell short in nonconfere­nce play despite dominant action at the top of the lineup. No. 1 Hansana Perara and No. 2 Aditya Ingle both won in straight sets, but that was all the Knights could get on Tuesday.

CB WEST 7, PENNRIDGE 0 »

The Bucks did not drop a set in overwhelmi­ng the Rams on Tuesday in a SOL Colonial match on Tuesday. Alexander Kouznetsov and Andrei Bogdan set the tone with a pair of 6-0, 6-0 wins at the top of the lineup for CB West (8-0, 4-0).

PJP II 14, INTERBORO 2 » Connor Gucwa scored two goals and added seven assists, while Ian Young and Luke Sykes both had three goals and two assists for the Golden Panthers (2-2) on Tuesday. Dillon Murphy won 14 of 16 faceoffs, while Sean Fallon had 10 saves for the Panthers. Ryan Lamson added three goals and one assist for PJP II.

COUNCIL ROCK NORTH 12, NORTH PENN 10 » Connor Toussaint and Lars Homan each scored four goals,

but the Knights (4-3, 2-1) dropped the SOL National

contest on Tuesday. Jake Myers and Billy Homony also scored for North Penn, while Matt Kuhn made 14 saves in net. SPRING-FORD 13, UPPER MERION 4 » The Vikings fell behind 6-0 at the half and dropped the PAC contest on Tuesday. Kevin Roseland scored two goals, while Casey Lamey and Andrew Haney also added goals. Rocco Lindelow made 18 saves in net for Upper Merion.

PLYMOUTH WHITMARSH 12, QUAKERTOWN 5 » Junior midfielder Justin Bainbridge led the Colonials offensive attack with five goals and three assists, while also going 10 for 14 on faceoffs to help the Colonials secure an SOL Liberty win over Quakertown on Tuesday night. Senior CJ Petrakis added four goals to the team’s total, while adding 3 assists. Rounding out the scoring were two goals from senior attack Luke Wendler, who also had 2 assists, and a goal from junior midfielder Jared Kolsun. Freshman LSM Isaiah Bainbridge had 2 assists and led the defense by dominating transition­s and clears, as well as causing multiple turnovers. Senior defenseman Keith Gallagher and freshman defenseman Dylan Imperial also played excellent games on the defensive end and goalie Nate Mascio turned in a solid performanc­e, notching nine saves.

Girls lacrosse

ARCHBISHOP CARROLL 22, PRENDIE 1 » Fifteen different players found the back of the net for Carroll led by Machaela Henry’s hat trick and five other players added two goals each. Goalie Bridge Robinson got the win, stopping two shots in net.

LC 17, ST. HUBERT 2 » Emily Simpson and Sam Beyerle each scored five goals as the Crusaders won going away on Tuesday in PCL action. Ava Mercier added three goals and five assists, while Grace Marchese aldo scored three goals for LC. Caroline Kerr had two saves in net for the Crusaders.

OWEN J. ROBERTS 19, NORRISTOWN 0 » Nineteen different players scored a goal in OJR’s home 19-0 victory over Norristown. OJR focused on assisted goals and came away with 15 dimes.
