Phoebe Berks holds health fair for residents
Phoebe Berks Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) in Lower Heidelberg Township, Berks County, hosted a health fair last Wednesday to support their comprehensive lifestyle wellness program: Mind, Body, Spirit, Food.
Vendors included Medsense Health Medication Adherence Platform, Holisticare Hospice, Tower Health Medical Group Cardiology, Comforting Home Care by Phoebe, Compassus Hospice, Vision Resource Center of Berks County, Cura Hospitality, Western Berks Shepherding Ministries, Inc., Berks Foot & Ankle Surgical Associates,
SAJE Therapies, Phoebe Pharmacy, Live Better Hearing + Balance, Donna Paff- Reiki Practitioner, Advanced Primary Stroke Center at Reading Hospital, Highmark Wholecare, and Pathstones by Phoebe.
More than 150 seniors who live independently on the Phoebe Berks campus visited vendors to learn about a variety of health and wellness services.
Some enjoyed chair massages, Reiki sessions and hand massages. The Phoebe Retired Nurses (PRN), a group of retirees formed on the campus, offered free blood pressure checks.
