Bank robber sought

Fairfield police are searching for a man who robbed the Golden 1 Credit Union on Holiday Lane Wednesday morning.

No injuries were reported.

The robbery occurred around 10:30 a.m. when the suspect walked into the bank, handed the teller a demand note and walked out with the loot, police said.

The suspect was described as a black man in his early 20s wearing a green hat and black jacket. He is associated with a white sedan.
