Students prep for smiling contest

Have fun making a funny story….

Hello, kids! I am Mrs. _________, your school’s Parent Club leader, and today we are announcing contests to perk you up and get you all excited and _________ about your return to our beautiful and very ________ school campus.

FIRST, we will welcome stories about your Easter Day and how _________ you felt about every ________ thing you experience­d. Did you go to church? Did the Easter Bunny arrive with a big _________ basket filled with colored _________ s and chocolate __________ s? Did you get something new to wear, such as a new __________, maybe in the colors ________ and _________ to match our school colors? Your stories will be read at the next _________ school assembly, and each young author will receive a __________ as a prize.

NOW, our Parent Club is selling T-shirts and sweat shirts, in all sizes, to fit children and also adults who may even weigh as much as _______ pounds. Each shirt will have our school’s name, which you know is ________ School, and will have a picture of our _______ mascot, the mighty creature we know as the majestic _______. T-shirts will cost $ _______ for children’s sizes, and $ ________ for adults.

PLAYGROUND RULES: You _________ kids have been at home for the past year, doing Online School, so you may have forgotten our playground rules. First of all, recess is not the time for you to just walk out the gate and go home, with some _________ excuse like needing to use the _________ at your house. Next, do not yell loudly. People as far away as ___________ complain about your yelling. Also, do not litter. Our janitor says he finds many unusual items on our playground. If you want to throw away a ________, put it in the trash can.
