Are you interested in medicine, health, veterinary sciences, communicat­ions, civic engagement,

or marketing? If so, we have a 4-H project for you!

This project is designed for youth that are at least 12 years old. There are 8 project meetings, covering 11 lessons.

What will you do?

The 4-H Disease Detectives Project will help you learn about disease outbreaks in animals, virus transmissi­on, public health investigat­ions, and how protective actions like hand washing, social distancing, vaccinatio­ns, and herd immunity help manage negative health outcomes.

When you attend at least six hours of project meetings you will receive a 4-H STEM Project Pin!

Meetings will be held at:

Vacaville Town Square Library, located at 1 Town Square Place, Vacaville, CA 95688

Thursdays, 6:30-7:30PM, beginning April 28, 2022

4/28/22, 5/5/22, 5/12/22, 5/26/22, 6/9/22, 6/16/22 & 6/23/22

The May 19 meeting will be held at Andrews Park, located at 614 E Monte Vista Avenue,

Vacaville, CA 95688

If the In-Person meetings don’t fit into your schedule, register for the 4-H Junior Disease Detectives Project virtual participat­ion opportunit­y. Registrati­on deadline for the in-person or virtual project is Monday, April 18.
