The Fairfield-Suisun City Visual Arts Association would like to invite the public to an amazing art sale. The families of the late Jay and Gloria McManigal and Doris Proctor have donated over 150 pieces of fine art from their parents’ private collection to the FSVAA. The art sale will raise money for the FSVAA Annual High School Student Art Show, Assist-a-Grad Scholarships, and the FSVAA Nor-Cal Regional Juried Art Show.

In the collection there will be several historic photographs of Europe, Egypt, and Japan dating back to 1912. Also, illustrations by James R. Shaver from the early 1900’s. His work has been included in such famous magazines as the New York Times, Century, American Red Cross, and Life.

Most of the artwork is in excellent condition but there about five (5) pieces with minor damage like nicks and chipped frames, and broken glass. Most can be repaired or replaced. Additional artwork by former members of the FSVAA and abandoned artwork will be included in the sale. All artwork will be priced to sell. The artwork can be viewed on our website at Art Sale | fsvaa (fvaa-arts.org). Each piece
