BLACK FRIDAY' ARTS AND CRAFTS FAIR

The Fairfield-Suisun City Visual Arts Associatio­n and Village 360 would like to invite the public to our 2nd Annual ‘Black Friday’ Arts and Crafts Fair. This year’s event will include the addition of Fine Art.

This will be the second year for an event of this kind at the Village 360 and organized by the Fairfield-Suisun City Visual Arts Associatio­n. The Arts and Crafts Fair will offer fine arts and crafts by over 30 fine artists and crafters, and it will be held on two floors of the conference building. The Arts and Crafts Fair will be held at the Village 360, 4949 Suisun Valley Road, Fairfield 94534.

The Event will offer a variety of artwork including Acrylic, Watercolor, Oil, Color Photograph­y, Black and White Photograph­y, Ceramic, Fused Glass, Drawings, Jewelry, Computer Art, Mixed Media, desserts, center pieces, books, kitchen items, wooden games, Hawaiian Art, and much more.

On Saturday, November 26, the public will have an opportunit­y to support ‘Play For a Stray’, a local dog rescue non-profit. Also on Saturday the Solano Community Animal Response Team will be onsite. The Solano Community

Animal Response Team is a volunteerl­ed 501(c)(3) non-profit organizati­on that works in cooperatio­n with local government­al and non-government­al agencies to ensure the best possible outcome for animals in Solano and neighborin­g counties who need assistance during an emergency. We will be at the event to discuss what we can provide to the community including helping homeowners prepare a Disaster Action Plan and educate owners on how we can help them during a natural disaster evacuate their animals safely. We are also seeking volunteers to join us as well as donations to further our ability to help the Solano Community. For more informatio­n, please go to https:// www.solanocart.org/.

This year’s event will also offer a free photo booth operated by Francisco Balandran, owner of Valuable Exposure Photograph­y located in the Solano Town Center on the second floor. Each guest will receive a free 4 x 6-inch portrait. VEP will be booking studio sessions for the Holiday Studio in the mall. Packages are available for an additional cost.

The Landing will be supplying an assortment of food, The Point will offer a wide selection of drinks, and BackRoad Vines Vineyards will supply a variety of fine wines. You will be able to stroll among the vendors and enjoy the holiday music, sip fine wine, and purchase holiday gifts for friends and family.

The ‘Black Friday’ Arts and Crafts Fair will start on Friday, November 25, continues on Saturday, November 26, and Sunday, November 27 from 11am-5pm. Additional informatio­n for vendors and the public is available on the FSVAA website, www.fvaa-arts.org/fsvaa-artfestiva­ls.

While visiting the Village 360 during the ‘Black Friday’ Arts and Crafts Fair, ask for a private tour of the new Village 360 Art Gallery in the BackRoad Vines Winery Club Room.
