Tickets for Vacaville Museum Dinner for Eight now on sale

-

How does a dinner or tea in a lovely garden on a beautiful spring day sound? And what about the opportunity to support the Vacaville Museum while doing so?

Those who act fast will be entered into an opportunity to do just that when the Vacaville Museum Guild hosts its Dinner for Eight and Tea for Twelve fundraisers.

The dates for both have not been announced, and as the names would imply, seating is limited for these affairs, but the Guild is offering a chance to draw tickets and secure a spot at one of these two events, with guests selected by the winning entrants. Tickets are on sale now through March 30.

The Dinner for Eight will consist of cocktails and a fancy meal at the Morales home on Buck Avenue. Tea for Twelve will consist of an afternoon sipping tea with up to 12 guests in the garden of Catherine Cherry on Buck.

Winning tickets will be drawn at 3:30 p.m. March 31 in the museum lobby, and the winners will be notified by phone. The first winner to be notified wills elect which of the two events they want to go to. The second winner will choose the remaining event. Dates for both events will be chosen by the hosts.

Tickets can be purchased during the museum's public hours 1 to 4:30 p.m. Thursdays through Saturdays at 213 Buck Ave. or during office hours, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesdays through Fridays. Simply ring the doorbell. Tickets may also be purchased online at Vacavillemuseum. org under the “events” tab. Online/credit card tickets will be $26 and tickets purchased with cash or checks will be $25.
