Rebuilding Together hosting workday event
Rebuilding Together will be hosting a workday event on the 1100 block of Tyler Street in Fairfield on Monday.
Rebuilding Together — with support from Wells Fargo and Home Depot — will be hosting a workday event on the 1100 block of Tyler Street in Fairfield on Monday.
The time of the event will be from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. According to a news release, this workday is made possible due to sponsors Wells Fargo and Home Depot as well as additional donors including: Construction Concierge, Costco Vallejo, CSAA, Harim Jeon Tree Service, M & M Sanitation LLC,
Medic Ambulance, Minuteman Press, Phillips 66, Republic Services — Fairfield, The Nimitz Group, Valero Benicia Refinery, Vallejo Community Presbyterian Church and other community supporters.
Some of the projects include yard work, tree trimming, pressure washing, exterior painting, fence construction, fence staining, debris hauling, replacement of hot water heater, installation of grab bars / smoke alarms / CO alarm, and installation of LED motion lighting fixtures.
“It is very heartwarming that Rebuilding Together Solano County and the workday sponsors (Wells Fargo and Home Depot) and other workday donors can join together to make a lasting and visible difference for another veteran / military homeowner in Solano County,” said Elizabeth Hoffman, Executive Director, Rebuilding Together Solano County in a news release. “Wells Fargo has been instrumental in donating the funding and volunteers to allow the necessary home repairs for more than 25 veteran households in Solano County.”
