Jean A. Rose­man, 80, of Cen­tre Street, Ash­land, passed away Mon­day at Le­high Val­ley Hos­pi­tal Schuylkill E. Nor­we­gian Street.

Born in Foun­tain Springs, June 17, 1937, she was a daugh­ter of the late Louis and Marie Don­lin Miller.

She at­tended the for­mer St. Joseph’s El­e­men­tary School, Ash­land, and was em­ployed as a trim­mer and presser for the for­mer Ash­land Sports­wear Fac­tory, Ash­land, un­til her re­tire­ment in 1984.

Jean was a mem­ber of the for­mer St. Joseph Ro­man Catholic Church, now St. Charles Bor­romeo Catholic Parish, Ash­land.

Pre­ced­ing her in death were a son, James Rose­man; sis­ters, Mar­garet Fet­terolf and Florence Miller; a brother, Ger­ald Miller.

Sur­vivors in­clude a daugh­ter, Jean Korn, Ash­land; son, Carl Rose­man, Pottsville; daugh­ter-in-law, Vicky Rose­man, Frackville; son-in-law, William Korn, Gor­don; eight grand­chil­dren; two great­grand­chil­dren; nieces and neph­ews.

Rel­a­tives and friends are in­vited to a me­mo­rial prayer ser­vice at 7 p.m. Fri­day in Richard W. Fritz Fune­real Home, 1323 Cen­tre St., Ash­land. Of­fi­ci­at­ing will be the Rev. Paul L.
