Williams Valley’s Pinchorski named PSAC’s top pitcher
LOCK HAVEN — Millersville senior pitcher Cassidy Pinchorski earned her first career Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference East Division Softball Pitcher of the Week honor Monday. Pinchorski dominated the circle by giving up a total of two runs and posting a 1.20 ERA in two games.
Pinchorski showed her dominance in the first matchup against Shippensburg where she gave up two hits, allowed only one run and no walks. Pinchorski earned her third complete game and her fourth win of the season.
In the second PSAC East start of the week, Pinchorski had a one-hitter until the top of the sixth inning when an East Stroudsburg batter singled. Pinchorski struck out four batters, allowed five hits and one run, which was given up in the top of the seventh inning with two outs.
Pinchorski is 5-4 overall with a 3.44 ERA this season in 13 appearance and has struck out 29 batters. She is 11 shy of breaking the alltime strikeout career record in Millersville program history. The Marauders are 17-14 overall and 6-4 in the PSAC East.
