Elizabeth Raczka, 99, of Min­ersville, passed away Thurs­day at her res­i­dence.

Elizabeth was born in Mount Laf­fey, June 1, 1919, a daugh­ter of the late Anna Sirko and Michael Ben­zu­lak.

She was the widow of Frank Raczka, who died Oct. 23, 2005.

Elizabeth was a for­mer tav­ern owner/ oper­a­tor in both Ma­hanoy City and Frackville.

In ad­di­tion to her par­ents and her hus­band, Frank, she was pre­ceded in death by a brother, Michael Ben­zu­lak; sis­ters, Anna Reno, Mary Rulavage, He­len Kellen and Irene Ben­zu­lak; a grand­son, Richard Kelly Jr.; a great­grand­son, Jayse W. Raczka.

Elizabeth is sur­vived by a daugh­ter, Vir­ginia Kelly, Ash­land; two sons, Frank Raczka, Palo Alto and Jef­frey G. Raczka Sr., Min­ersville. Elizabeth is also sur­vived by a sis­ter, Margaret Hut­sko, Alabama, and by g rand­chil­dren, Pamela Shields, Karen Miller, Robin Dease, Na­dine Nemeth, Jef­frey G. Raczka Jr., Jared Kolten McGin­ley, Chase Raczka and Kelsey Adam and Aaron Raczka, Jac­que­line Rae Raczka; great- grand­chil­dren, Jo­lene Miller, Robert Gi­rard, Matthew Shields, Al­li­son Ply­male, Dy­lan and Kayla Miller, Cameron and Karma Raczka, Holly Wil­liams, Kelly Tor­res and Jus­tine Vil­lanueva.

A re­li­gious fu­neral ser­vice will be held at 11 a. m. Tues­day at Ma­hal- Ritzel Fu­neral Home Inc., Min­ersville. All are re­spect­fully in­vited to at­tend a vis­i­ta­tion Mon­day evening with call­ing hours from 6 to 8 p. m. at the fu­neral home as well as Tues­day morn­ing un­til the time of ser­vice. In­ter­ment will be in St. Stanis­laus Kostka No. 2 Ceme­tery. Ma­hal- Ritzel Fu­neral Home Inc., Min­ersville, is en­trusted with the ar­range­ments.
