Elizabeth Raczka, 99, of Minersville, passed away Thursday at her residence.
Elizabeth was born in Mount Laffey, June 1, 1919, a daughter of the late Anna Sirko and Michael Benzulak.
She was the widow of Frank Raczka, who died Oct. 23, 2005.
Elizabeth was a former tavern owner/ operator in both Mahanoy City and Frackville.
In addition to her parents and her husband, Frank, she was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Benzulak; sisters, Anna Reno, Mary Rulavage, Helen Kellen and Irene Benzulak; a grandson, Richard Kelly Jr.; a greatgrandson, Jayse W. Raczka.
Elizabeth is survived by a daughter, Virginia Kelly, Ashland; two sons, Frank Raczka, Palo Alto and Jeffrey G. Raczka Sr., Minersville. Elizabeth is also survived by a sister, Margaret Hutsko, Alabama, and by g randchildren, Pamela Shields, Karen Miller, Robin Dease, Nadine Nemeth, Jeffrey G. Raczka Jr., Jared Kolten McGinley, Chase Raczka and Kelsey Adam and Aaron Raczka, Jacqueline Rae Raczka; great- grandchildren, Jolene Miller, Robert Girard, Matthew Shields, Allison Plymale, Dylan and Kayla Miller, Cameron and Karma Raczka, Holly Williams, Kelly Torres and Justine Villanueva.
A religious funeral service will be held at 11 a. m. Tuesday at Mahal- Ritzel Funeral Home Inc., Minersville. All are respectfully invited to attend a visitation Monday evening with calling hours from 6 to 8 p. m. at the funeral home as well as Tuesday morning until the time of service. Interment will be in St. Stanislaus Kostka No. 2 Cemetery. Mahal- Ritzel Funeral Home Inc., Minersville, is entrusted with the arrangements.
