The Republican Herald - - COMMENTARY -

I see where Walmart is not going to have the Toys for Tots boxes anymore. Well, one way to take care of that. No one shop there. Show them where it hurts, in the bank. Maybe that will make a difference. I don’t understand what that was all about. It’s unbelievable.

God bless the people who represent the Knights of Columbus and the Shenandoah Rotary. Two gentlemen and two very nice ladies that delivered two Thanksgiving meals to the High Rise for the Thanksgiving holiday. And gee wiz, on top of the cold yet. God bless them. They are angels.

Instead of that caller complaining about Casey, Wolf and Cartwright, he should ask himself why their opponents got routed. Lowlives do not account for those huge victory margins. Instead, use your common sense.

To the guy from Frackville about property taxes: Prop- erty taxes should be eliminated, period. I have been paid property taxes all my life and I am retired and my home is paid for also and it is not an expensive home. I just believe in my heart, property taxes should be eliminated.

To the guy from Frackville on property taxes: Pennsylvania is 40th in the country as one of the highest states on taxing, percentage- wise, on property taxes. Hawaii and Alabama are the lowest.

To the person from Minersville: Yes, I voted for Casey, Wolf and Cartwright because they were the better candidates. I have a strong pension coming in as a retiree and a very strong Social Security check coming in every month. I don’t consider myself a low life. Maybe you should look in the mirror, Minersville.

They need a law requiring candidates for governor and president to release their last two years of tax returns before their name is printed on a primary election ballot. Had Trump released his taxes, like he promised, the Mueller probe would have finished months ago.

I see the Grinch, once he realized he couldn’t steal Christmas from the little children of Whoville, has decided to move on to bigger and better things. He is now going to get a job at corporate for Walmart so he can steal Christmas from the children who deserve it from Toys for Tots. Good class act, Walmart.
