Pottsville’s boys’ bas­ket­ball team opens sea­son with non- league vic­tory over Glen Mills.

CONCORDVILLE — Pottsville opened the boys’ bas­ket­ball sea­son with a de­ci­sive win Fri­day night.

Three play­ers scored in dou­ble dig­its as the Crim­son Tide took a 59- 27, non- league con­test at Glen Mills.

Ma­son Barnes led the charge for Pottsville with 17 points, fol­lowed by Kevin Schenk ( 16) and Ai­den Stan­ton ( 11).

Af­ter a 23- 19 lead at half, the Tide pulled away over the Bat­tling Bulls, hold­ing them to eight points in the sec­ond half.
