Donna Marie Alonge, 68, of Tus­carora, passed away peace­fully Fri­day at St. Luke’s Hos­pi­tal- Min­ers Cam­pus, Coal­dale.

Born in Tus­carora, Dec. 21, 1950, she was a daugh­ter of the late Harry and Mar­garet En­glert Kel­lett and step­fa­ther, Wal­ter “Boots” En­glert.

Donna was a con­sci­en­tious worker as a seam­stress for the for­mer State Mfg. Co., New Philadel­phia, in her early years of em­ploy­ment and in 2001 be­came ded­i­cated to her clerk job at the Schuylkill County Prison.

In ad­di­tion to her par­ents, she was pre­ceded in death by a sis­ter, Carol Ann Kel­lett, and her daugh­ter- in- law, Terry Bar­ron Alonge.

Donna is sur­vived by her son, Joseph Alonge, Tus­carora; her grand­daugh­ter, Amanda and hus­band, Michael Runk, Home­town, and her great- grand­sons, Nolan and Lu­cas Runk, who also made her smile, and her god­daugh­ter, Nissa Str­men­sky. Donna was loved and will be missed by many.

A me­mo­rial ser­vice will be held at 11 a. m. Wed­nes­day at The Thomas J. Bar­tashus Fu­neral Home, New Philadel­phia, with the Rev. Ron­ald J. Min­ner of­fi­ci­at­ing. Friends may call at the view­ing from 10 to 11 a. m. Wed­nes­day at the fu­neral home. In­ter­ment will im­me­di­ately fol­low.
