Lions for a cause
The Pottsville Lions Club Charities makes annual donations to local organizations. This year, the club donated to: Big Impact of Schuylkill County; Hillside SPCA; Jaden Leiby’s family; Lasting Legacy Yuengling Park Christmas; Majestic Theater Kids Christmas Movie; Pottsville Commission on Tourism “Walking Tour Brochure;” Pottsville Fire Police; Pottsville Free Public Library; Pottsville Lions Charities; Pottsville PBA Holiday Lighting; Pottsville Area Soap Box Derby; Pottsville Winter Carnival; Schuylkill Community Action Food Drive; St. Joseph Center for Special Learning; Toys for Tots; Veterans of Vietnam War Post 29. In total, Pottsville Lions Club Charities donated over $ 5,400 this year.
