Lifestream blood drives: Blood drives are scheduled 9a.m.-1p.m. at Panera Bread, 8055Haven Ave., Rancho Cucamonga; and 10 a.m.-3p.m. at Cardenas Market, 5281 Holt Blvd., Montclair. Donors receive automatic entry into Lifestream’s Super Bowl LVI Experience sweepstakes; a Lifestream blanket, while a free mini-physical, including readings for blood pressure, pulse, cholesterol levels, iron level and temperature, with results being posted on the donor’s private online portal. Food distribution: Food for Life Ministry offers food 4-6p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays at its main warehouse, 4712Cheyenne Way, Chino. It also offers food there 9a.m.-noon on the Saturdays when it is not holding food distributions elsewhere. Bring a form of identification (required) and $5(not required). Writers’ group: The San Dimas Writers Group meets 1 p.m. Wednesdays at San Dimas Senior Center, 201E. Bonita Ave., San Dimas. The group is open to published writers and anyone else interested in joining a community of writers. There is no cost to join; masks are required.

E-waste recycling: Assistance League of the Foothill Communities holds an e-waste recycling collection event 9a.m.-1p.m. in the back parking lot of the Thrift Shop, 8555 Archibald Ave., Rancho Cucamonga. Items accepted include computers, televisions, video game systems and vintage electronics. Proceeds will go to the Assistance League of the Foothill Communities. Women’s club: The Rancho Cucamonga Woman’s Club meets 11:30 a.m. the second Wednesday of the month at Kickback Jack’s, 10123 Foothill Blvd., Rancho Cucamonga. The club welcomes women who would like to attend as visitors and perhaps join the club. The group holds fundraisers to provide scholarships to local high school seniors and also donates to the Salvation Army, Head Start, the Ronald Mcdonald House and Pennies for Pines.
