Hospice volunteer orientation: The Elizabeth Hospice, which provides care for people in San Diego County and southwest Riverside County, will hold volunteer orientation sessions via Zoom, 4-5 p.m. Jan. 6; noon-1 p.m. Jan. 17; 10-11 a.m. Feb. 4; and 4-5 p.m. Feb. 15. Installation gala: The Corona Chamber of Commerce’s annual installation and awards gala is scheduled 5:30-8:30p.m. Jan. 20 at Eagle Glen Golf Club, 1800 Eagle Glen Parkway, Corona. Tickets are available through Jan. 11 at mychamber.org.

Lifestream blood drive: A blood drive is scheduled 11a.m.-3p.m. at Farmer Boys, 1201S. Sanderson Ave., Hemet. Donors receive automatic entry into Lifestream’s Super Bowl LVI Experience sweepstakes; a Lifestream blanket, while supplies last; and a free mini-physical including readings for blood pressure, pulse, cholesterol levels, iron level and temperature, with results being posted on the donor’s private online portal. Johnsonquijada, who received her medical degree from Loma Linda University, will address questions including “Why can’t I stop my meds when I feel better?” and discuss psychiatric medications and the use of non-medication strategies.
