A little over a month ago, the location again showed signs of life, and it reopened at the end of February.

Current hours are 11 a.m.-10 p.m.

New KFC

San Bernardino’s fourth KFC has opened.

The location at 905 N. Waterman Ave. was originally an El Pollo Loco, but was most recently Wok & Grill, which closed in 2017.

Sorry, we’re closed

Shogun’s San Bernardino location, shuttered for most of the pandemic, finally has closed.

A notice posted inside the front door in early 2020 read “In doing our part to fight against the spread of COVID-19, Shogun San Bernardino will be closed until March 31st OR until further notice. Shogun Restaurant Group.”

The location, formerly an Elephant Bar Restaurant, was eventually removed from the chain’s website.

Signage was recently removed from the building at 1050 Harriman Place.

Remaining Inland Empire locations include Temecula, Rancho Cucamonga, Corona, Palm Desert and La Verne.

In Riverside, Doña Timos La Cascada Mexican Grill, at 3635 University Ave., has also closed, but an application for new ownership was posted to one of the windows covered with butcher paper.

According to the California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control, the new name in the application is Cerveceria y Taqueria Estrella.

A Doña Timos Restaurant at 8836 Sierra Ave. in Fontana appears to still be in business.
