GOVERNMENT OFFICES: Federal, state, county and city offices will be closed; offices will reopen on Tuesday. Most Redlands city offices and City Hall are closed through Jan. 2 and will reopen Jan. 3. MAIL DELIVERY: No mail delivery today or Monday..

FINANCIAL INSTITUTIO­NS: All financial institutio­ns will be closed today and Monday. STORES: Most stores will be closed today.

PUBLIC TRANSPORTA­TION: Riverside Transit Agency, Dial-a-ride buses will not operate today and will resume a regular schedule Monday. Administra­tive offices will be closed today and Monday. Customer Informatio­n Center will be closed today and open Monday from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Omnitrans buses will not operate today and will resume a regular schedule Monday. Customer service center will be closed today. Administra­tive offices will be closed today and Monday. Foothill Transit buses will run today according to their weekend or Sunday Service schedules. Schedules will change for the holiday. Transit Store holiday schedules vary by location and day. Metrolink will provide regular Sunday service today. Trains will operate a Saturday schedule on the federally observed holiday on Monday. The Saturday schedule includes service on the Antelope Valley, San Bernardino, Orange County, 91/Perris Valley, Ventura County and Inland Empireoran­ge County lines. Trains will not operate on the Riverside Line. Regular weekday service will resume on Tuesday. The $10Holiday Pass will be available on Monday. LIBRARIES: Riverside County libraries will be closed today and Monday. San Bernardino County libraries are closed today and Monday. The A.K. Smiley Public Library in Redlands will be closed today and Monday.

SCHOOLS AND COLLEGES: Schools will not be in session.

GARBAGE PICKUP: City of Riverside and Burrtec will have a one-day delay in service. Cal Disposal, CR&R, Redlands Solid Waste Trash and Recycling Services and Waste Management of the Inland Empire services will not be affected all week. Riverside County and San Bernardino County landfills will be closed today.
