CITRUS 4 LEAGUE COLONY (6-3, 2-0) VS. GLENDORA (6-3, 2-0) AT CITRUS COLLEGE, 7 P.M. IE Varsity info:

The Citrus 4champions­hip once again comes down to a clash between these teams. Glendora prevailed 28-7in 2021, while Colony claimed the title last year with a 47-18 win over the Tartans. Colony has won three straight games, including a 31-13 victory over Los Osos last week. Elijah Ybanez had a pair of scoring runs to lead the way for the Titans. Colony’s defense is led by senior defensive tackle Kaleb Tulloss and sophomore safety Andre Johnson. Glendora pulled out a 38-34victory over South Hills last week to set up this showdown. Decker Degraaf is the team’s leading receiver and tackler this season.

Colony

Prediction: IVY LEAGUE RANCHO VERDE (8-1, 4-0) AT ORANGE VISTA (6-3, 4-0), 7 P.M. IE Varsity info:

Orange Vista’s Greg Zomalt and Rancho Verde’s Eric Zomalt will be on opposite sidelines for the second time as their teams battle for the Ivy League title. Big brother won the first “Zomalt Bowl” last season, as Orange Vista cruised to a 51-14 victory to claim the league championsh­ip. Orange Vista has rattled off five consecutiv­e wins, including a 42-0 victory over Temescal Canyon last week. Khalil Abdul Aziz has passed for 2,400 yards and 25 touchdowns, and Sire Gaines has 773 yards from scrimmage and a team-high 13 touchdowns. Iese Magalei leads the defense with eight sacks. Rancho Verde also brings a five-game win streak into the game. Dylan Riley is one of the top running backs in the state, rushing for 1,769 yards while scoring 27 touchdowns for the Mustangs this season. Amarion Orange has caught 10 touchdowns passes and also has a pair of intercepti­ons on defense.

Prediction: Orange Vista MIRAMONTE LEAGUE GAREY (4-5, 2-0) AT

LA PUENTE (8-1, 2-0), 7 P.M. IE Varsity info: Garey looks to win

its second straight league championsh­ip with a victory Friday. The Vikings started the season with five losses but have bounced back to win four consecutiv­e games, Alex Vaca and Miguel Pascual lead the ground attack for Garey with a combined 1,463 yards and 11 touchdowns. David Davila has caught seven touchdown passes for the Vikings and also has two intercepti­ons on defense. La Puente has won six consecutiv­e games, including a 24-21victory over Ganesha last week that helped set up this clash. Ezekeil Zamora has thrown for 1,614 yards and 16 touchdowns and added another 521 yards and four touchdowns on the ground. Dalonta Foley leads La Puente’s defense with five intercepti­ons.

Garey

Prediction: MOUNTAIN PASS LEAGUE TAHQUITZ (8-1, 3-1) AT LIBERTY (8-1, 4-0), 7 P.M. IE Varsity info:

Liberty already clinched at least a share of the program’s first league championsh­ip, but the Bison can make it an undefeated title with a win Friday. Liberty has won five straight games, including a 40-37victory over defending champ San Jacinto two weeks ago. The Bison are led on offense by quarterbac­k Anthony Quinones and running back Andre Skelton, while linebacker Eddie Smith is team’s top defensive player. Tahquitz can claim a share of the league title with a victory. The Titans bounced back from a 53-21 loss to San Jacinto with a pair of wins. Tahquitz is led by quarterbac­k Romeo Evans and all-purpose star DJ Bryant.

Liberty

Prediction: SAN ANDREAS LEAGUE KAISER (6-3, 2-0) AT RIM OF THE WORLD (4-5, 2-0), 7 P.M. IE Varsity info:

It’s a winner-take-all showdown in the mountains Friday evening. Kaiser has won three straight games, including a 36-6victory over Rialto last week. Ki’yel Shyne leads the Cats’ run-heavy offensive attack with 1,247 yards and 18 touchdowns, while Tyler Tucker and Terrell Holmesguer­rero have combined for another 1,317 rushing yards and nine touchdowns. World held on for a 20-17 win over Carter last week to set up this title battle. The Fighting Scots have a balanced ground attack led by Cale Horan and Christian Granger. David Marin leads the defense with seven tackles per game.

Prediction: SKYLINE LEAGUE SAN GORGONIO (8-1, 4-0) AT BLOOMINGTO­N (8-1, 3-1), 7 P.M. IE Varsity info:

Kaiser

San Gorgonio has won four straight games and clinched at least a share of the league title with a 27-21overtime win over Fontana last week. Dillon Carolina ran for 158 yards and two touchdowns, including the game-winning score in overtime. Jaevin Sawyer caught a touchdown pass and returned a fumble for a score in the fourth quarter to get the comeback started. John Rubio tops the defense with 106 tackles. Bloomingto­n lost its league opener to Arroyo Valley, but the Bruins rebounded with three straight wins by a combined 15points. Diego Fraembs ran for 131 yards and a touchdown and caught a pair of touchdowns in last week’s 47-42win over Notre Dame. Andrew Padron leads the defense with six intercepti­ons.

San Gorgonio

Prediction: SUNKIST LEAGUE JURUPA HILLS (4-5, 1-1) AT SUMMIT (6-3, 1-1), 7 P.M. IE Varsity info:

The winner of this crosstown Fontana rivalry game will secure an automatic playoff spot, while the loser will have to apply for an at-large berth. Jurupa Hills bounced back from a loss to Eisenhower with a 35-20win over Grand Terrace last week. Caleb Ruiz passed for 195yards and three touchdowns and ran in another score for the Spartans. Eric Moreno returned a kickoff 88 yards for a touchdown. Summit looks to rebound from last week’s 31-22loss to Eisenhower. Jesse Vega threw for 145 yards and a touchdown and added two more scores on the ground for the Skyhawks. Zyhaire Lewis leads the defense with three intercepti­ons. Prediction: Summit
