Kings center Domantas Sabonis earned All-NBA Third Team honors for the second season in a row following another career year in Sacramento.

The 2023-24 All-NBA Team was unveiled Wednesday on TNT prior to Game 1 of the Western Conference finals between the Denver Nuggets and Minnesota Timberwolves. Players were selected by a global panel of 100 sportswriters and broadcasters.

Sabonis received one First

Team vote, 16 Second Team votes and 51 Third Team votes to earn a $1.3 million contract bonus. He is the 10th player in franchise history to earn backto-back All-NBA honors.

Kings point guard De’Aaron Fox received one Second Team vote and six Third Team votes, missing the cut after being named to the Third Team last season.

Sabonis averaged 19.4 points on 59.4% shooting from the field and a career-best 37.9% shooting from 3-point range. He also posted career highs of 13.7 rebounds and 8.2 assists.

Sabonis led the league in rebounding, double-doubles (77) and triple-doubles (26). Nuggets star Nikola Jokic, who was named MVP for the third time in his career, finished second with 68 double-doubles and 25 triple-doubles.

Sabonis posted 61 consecutive double-doubles, a single-season franchise record and the league’s longest such streak since the NBA/ABA merger in 1976-77. He also became the fifth player in NBA history to post at least 25 triple-doubles in a season, joining Jokic, Russell Westbrook, Wilt Chamberlain and Oscar Robertson.

Sabonis is entering the second year of the five-year, $217 million contract he signed with Sacramento last summer.
