Benton schools announce personnel changes

The Benton School District announced a number of personnel changes during its regularly scheduled June meeting, including the retirement of Benton High School Media Specialist Marta

Davis and custodian Keith Snodgrass.

Those resigning from their positions include Benton Middle School English teacher Lauren Gilleran and high school secondary English teacher Melanie Holmes. Other resignations include:

•BMS seventh-grade athletics/pe/health teacher Madeline Rhodes.

•Bus driver Lynne Greenwald.

New employees include BHS English teacher Kayla Andrews and math teachers Jamie Carden and Chelsea Hall.

Other new hires include:

•Benton Junior High business education teacher Candace Johnson.

•Angie Grant Elementary classroom teacher Anna Miller.

•Angie Grant Elementary classroom teacher Cheryl Mitchem.

•BHS foundation of health care and medical terminology teacher Jamie Robinson.

•Career development teacher/bjh volleyball and track coach Brooke White.

•BMS SPED paraprofessional Melanie Brashears.

Transfers and reassignments include:

•Emily Kersieck will transfer from Angie Grant Elementary teacher to BSD elementary instructional facilitator.

•BHS art teacher Laura Kyzer will transfer to the post of BHS library media specialist.

•Angie Grant Elementary custodian Helen Daniels will transfer to Caldwell Elementary.

•Caldwell elementary custodian Josh Doddridge will transfer to Howard Perrin Elementary.

•Zach Opitz will transfer from accounting specialist 1 to systems specialist for the technology department.

Temporary contracts for transportation have been given to Kylan Erby, Bethany Walsh, Jamie Jones, Rayn Mcdaniel, Tony Coley, Lori Mcginnis, Ken Kaczmarek, Lynne Greenwald, Gary Van Pelt, James Ray, Bill Hood, Lynn Moore, Sarah Dreher, Barbara Parker, Jay Lea, Chandra Loughary, Karl Barnes, Randy Shaw, Kelly Scott, Camaron Phillips, Dennis Ward, Tammy Ottoson, Lori Morrella,

Hilary Rhineberger, Tia Langhorn, Steve Loibner, John Zachary, Corey Rickett, Jerry Chumley, Bobby Winn, Matt Mcbride, Jason Gentry, Garrett Hammons, Brad Harris, Mitch Meredith, Dianne Dolan and Blake Dorsey.
