Emma “Lou” Webb, 88, of Benton, went to be with the Lord on April 20, 2024. She was born in Paragould on Nov. 13, 1935, to the late Guy and Maudie (Johnson) Jordan.

Lou worked at Columbus Elementary in

Illinois as a school librarian. Upon moving to Arkansas, she worked for the Saline County Library. Lou enjoyed reading and was an extremely dedicated, hard worker.

She was a very private woman, who had a special gift of embroideri­ng beautiful baby quilts. Family was very special to her and the great-grands particular­ly brightened her days. Lou loved the

Lord and was a member of Spring Creek Missionary Baptist Church.

Preceding Lou in death are her husband, Gerald A. Webb; sister, Nellie Joe Morris; and brother-inlaw, Ron Webb.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her son, Ken Webb and wife Sue of Benton; grandchild­ren, Kyle Webb and wife Sara of Benton and Logan Webb and wife Brittany of Italy; greatgrand­children, Noah, Ethan, Remy, Harper, Weston, and Luca; sisters, Lillian Singleton and Mary Alice Douglas and husband Paul, both of Dexter, Mo.; brother-in-law, Max Webb of Newport, Ark.; sistersin-law, Lockie Mccoy and husband James and Ann Webb of Newark, Ark.; and many family members and friends who love Lou and will miss her always.

Services will be held at Smith-benton Funeral Home on Thursday, April 25, with visitation held from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. followed by funeral service at 10:30 a.m.

Burial will be at at 3 p.m. in Maple Springs Cemetery in Oil Trough, Ark., with her grandsons and great-grandsons assisting as pallbearer­s.
