Alberta Debuonaventura

BALLSTON SPA — A. Alberta Debuonaventura, 85, of Ballston Spa passed away Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2012, surrounded by her daughters.

Born June 17, 1927, in Saratoga Springs, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary DiVesto.

Alberta was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking for family gatherings. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family.

She was a communicant of St Mary’s Catholic Church in Ballston Spa.

She was predeceased by her husband, Pio Debuonaventura; and her brothers, Nicholas and Richard DiVesto.

Alberta is survived by her daughters, Leonilde Beals ( Bill) of Clay, Mary Ann Lawrence of Saratoga Springs, Pia Kellogg ( David) of Ballston Spa, Gilda Blair ( Bob) of Saratoga Springs and Lisa Kennedy (Don) of Ballston Spa; her grandchildren, Jason, Vincent, Maria, Ann, Elizabeth, Nicholas and Sydney; and her greatgrandchildren, Gabriela, Mason, Luca, Mira, Cooper and Maci.

Funeral services will be held at 9 a. m. Saturday, Dec. 22, 2012, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church on Milton Avenue in Ballston Spa, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated.

Burial will follow at St. Peter’s Cemetery in Saratoga Springs.

Relatives and friends are invited to call from 5 to 8 p.m. today, Dec. 21, at Armer Funeral Home Inc., 39 E. High St., Ballston Spa.
