The Saratoga County Historical Society Brookside Museum will host a trivia night, 7 p.m. May 18. All profits will go directly to funding the museum collection­s. The night will be hosted by DJ Mark Hersh, and all teams will be made up of four people with prizes up for grabs. Admission is $40 per table ($10 per person in a team of four). Kathy Arbogast, president of the Halfmoon Button Club of the Capital District, will speak about button collecting and the historical significan­ce of 148 Main St., Greenwich. The documentar­y “Take These Broken Wings” will be screened at 7 p.m. May 15. Admission is free.

Huxley Theatre, Madison Avenue, Albany. Upstate premiere of “Thirst: A Civil War Story,” 1-3 p.m. Saturday, May 11. The production was shot entirely in the Capital Region. The screening is free.
