Anna Mae Campbell, 85, of Salem passed away unexpected­ly Sunday morning, June 1, 2014, at Saratoga Hospital.

Born February 7, 1929, in Burlington, Vermont, she was the daughter of the late Lewis B. and Sadie (Rochelle) LaTulippe. Anna Mae was a 1948 graduate of Salem Washington Academy.

She worked at the CA Baltz Shirt Factory in Salem and then at Agway in Salem as a bookkeeper. Anna Mae also sewed clothing for many people throughout the years from her home.

Anna Mae was a member of Holy Cross Church in Salem, where at one time she cleaned and cooked for the pastor. She was also the bookkeeper for the church and made the altar linens and other items for many fundraiser­s. She was a member of the Altar Rosary Society at the church and also the Catholic Daughters of the Americas, Court Joan of Arc.

Anna Mae enjoyed reading, which she began in her later years, crocheting, knitting, sewing and cooking.

In addition to her parents, Anna Mae was also predecease­d by her husband of 57 years, Pierce E. Campbell Sr., who passed away January 28, 2010; her siblings, Doris Cary, George LaTulippe, Beatrice LaTulippe, Robert LaTulippe, Alice LaTulippe, Raymond LaTulippe, Lewis LaTulippe Jr., Donald LaTulippe and Edward LaTulippe.

Anna Mae is survived by her son, Pierce E. Campbell Jr., and his wife, Deborah, of Saratoga Springs; her sisters, Sr. Christine LaTulippe of the Maryknoll Sis- ters, Ossining, New York, Mary Logan of Stamford, Connecticu­t, and Nancy Lemery of North Carolina; grandchild­ren, Trisha Campbell of Hilton Head, South Carolina, Tracy Campbell and her husband, Louis Arsenault, of Lexington, South Carolina, and Trevor Campbell of Saratoga Springs; and great-grandchild­ren, Dominick, Ethan and Matthew Campbell.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 4, 2014, at Holy Cross Church, 249 N. Main St., Salem, with Rev. Liam Condon officiatin­g.

Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery in Salem.

Following the services, everyone is welcomed to join Anna Mae’s family in the church hall for light refreshmen­ts.

It was Anna Mae’s request that there be no calling hours.
