Paul J. Biggie Jr.

Paul J. Biggie Jr. passed away peacefully surrounded by his family Sunday, June 1, 2014, at Glens Falls Hospital. He was 56.

Born August 27, 1957, in Saratoga Springs, he was the son of the late P. Joseph and Sally A. (Reilly) Biggie. He was a 1976 graduate of Saratoga Springs High School.

Paul was a custodian for the Saratoga Springs City School District, retiring from there in 2012, and a bouncer at Sage’s Bar on Caroline Street. He also worked for Dehn’s Flowers, Saratoga Springs Public Library and Prestwick Chase.

Paul was a member of the Hurricane Drum and Bugle Corps of Saratoga Springs.

Survivors include his wife, Cindy P. (Drew) Biggie of South Glens Falls; two daughters, Danielle Biggie of Rochester and Meghan Biggie of South Glens Falls; one sister, Patricia A. (John) Greenwood of Gansevoort; one brother, Philip (Betsy) Biggie of Syracuse; several cousins, nephews and nieces.

Relatives and friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 4, 2014, at William J. Burke & Sons/Bussing & Cunniff Funeral Homes, 628 N. Broadway, Saratoga Springs.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, June 5, 2014, at St. Clement’s Church, 231 Lake Ave., Saratoga Springs. Burial will follow in the family plot at St. Peter’s Cemetery on West Avenue in Saratoga Springs.

Paul’s family would like to thank the ICU staff at Glens Falls Hospital for the care they gave to Paul and his family.
