CANAL CLEAN SWEEP: Schoharie Crossing State Historic Site is participat­ing in the 12th Annual Canal Clean Sweep and is hosting volunteers that would like to lend a hand. The event is sponsored by the New York State Canal Corportati­on and Parks & Trails New York. This year, starting at 8 a.m., Schoharie Crossing will be conducting a sweep along the towpaths and around Yankee Hill to pick up debris, trash, and a little pruning along the way.
