COLLEGE PLANNING SEMINAR: College costs are rising at unpreceden­ted rates. Are you properly prepared to handle the expense of higher education? Come to the Saratoga Springs Public Library’s Glasby Room for an informal meeting on the first Wednesday of each month from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. to discuss different options to pay for college education. GALWAY PUBLIC LIBRARY: The Galway Public Library, 5264 Sacandaga Road, will hold Community Meetings to provide informatio­n to the Galway School District residents about the upcoming referendum for a new library building. The first meeting will be held at the Galway Town Hall on May 3 at 7 p.m. There will also be a public informatio­n meeting at the Library on June 7 at 7 p.m. to discuss the annual budget and the new building project. The Referendum will take place June 14, 10 a.m. – 8 p.m. at Galway Town Hall. GREENWICH SENIORS: Greenwich Senior Citizens meet at noon on the first and third Wednesday of each month at the VFW on Abeel Avenue. The May 3 meeting is a covered dish luncheon. Desserts and coffee are provided. A presentati­on and card games follow the luncheon. Seniors will learn a spring craft and the card game Hand, Knee & Foot. All Seniors are welcome.

NYS 5-HOUR PRE-LICENSING CLASS: The next New York State 5-Hour Pre-Licensing Class will be offered Wednesday May 3, from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday, May 6, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the First Baptist Church, 45 Washington Street, Saratoga Springs. OLD SARATOGA SENIORS: The Old Saratoga Seniors next meeting will be Wednesday, May 3 at noon at the Town Hall in Schuylervi­lle. It will be a casserole luncheon. Please bring a dish to share. WILTON HERITAGE SOCIETY: The monthly meeting of the Wilton Heritage Society will be held at the Meeting House, 5 Parkhurst Road, Wilton, on Wednesday, May 3. KOREAN WAR VETERANS: The May meeting of Ch. 60, of the Korean War Veterans’ Assoc., will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 4, at the VFW home on Veterans Way. Veterans Way is located off the Arterial, just north of Saratoga. Veterans who served anywhere during the Korean Conflict or in Korea at any time, are eligible to attend. as are spouses, widows, friends and relatives. LEADERSHIP SARATOGA: The widely recognized and nationally awarded Leadership Saratoga program began accepting applicatio­ns for the class of 2018 on April 15. The applicatio­n process will remain open through May 31.
