MALTA ARMED FORCES DAY: Residents and participants are set to gather on Saturday, May 20, to honor Armed Forces Day with an annual parade and ceremony. The parade will begin at 10 a.m. on Bayberry Drive and travel south on Route 9, where it will end on Blacksmith Drive. The parade will briefly pause in front of the Stewart’s Shop at the circle of Routes 9 and 67 in order to give recognition to a Meneely Bell recently donated as a gift to Malta from Bill Dake, CEO of Stewarts Shops and the Dake Corporation.
