Spa City salon to hold grand opening at new location
SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. » One Spa City salon will soon celebrate its grand opening at a new nearby location.
Longtime local business Valentino’s Hair Salon, formerly located in the Wilton Mall, has relocated to 56 Marion Ave. in the Fresh Market Plaza.
The business operated in the mall for about 15 years, before making the move earlier this year.
“Honestly, I think we outgrew the mall,” said owner Fawn Williams, who took over the business in 2005. “It was time.”
“It’s more personal,” Williams said of the full service salon’s new 2,000-square-foot space. “We can tend to our clients better here.”
As a business owner, Williams cares deeply about how people are treated and the outcome of each service, she said.
Along with her staff of nine, Williams is thrilled to be operating Valentino’s Hair Salon in this new more calm and relaxing environment.
“We can cater to our client a lot better and get them the TLC that they deserve,” she said.
With more than 20 years of experience in the industry, the Brooklyn native said she most enjoys seeing customers leave her salon with a smile.
In the new location, Valentino’s Hair Salon has been able to provide that experience to some new customers. “We’re in a new part of town, so we’ve seen a lot of new faces,” Williams said.
Valentino’s Hair Salon offers haircuts for all, as well as coloring services, facial waxing and hair extensions.
In the future, Williams plans to start doing eyelash extensions, too.
To celebrate its new location, Valentino’s Hair Salon will have a grand opening party from 2 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, June 24. At this event, the business will offer attendees special discounts, giveaways and complimentary champagne and hors d’oeuvres.
Valentino’s Hair Salon is open seven days a week, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturdays and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sundays.
