HUBBARD HALL: The Men o’ War Balladeers is a new Traditiona­l Music Band, based in Cambridge, New York, performing Celtic and North American folk ballads. CHEESE JAM: The centuryold gambrel-roofed barn at Nettle Meadow Farm once housed prize livestock. Today the stalls are home to some of the 100-plus rescued and retired animals of the farm’s Kemp Sanctuary, a non-profit corporatio­n formed by farm owners Sheila Flanagan and Lorraine Lambiase, while the loft serves as a rustic venue for this summer’s sanctuary fundraiser “Cheese Jam” concert series. On July 14, Arthur Buezo, known for his vocals and guitar playing with The Blind Owl Band from Saranac Lake, will offer a solo performanc­e of gritty Americana, with influences ranging all over the spectrum from country, bluegrass, rock and punk-rock. GREENFIELD FARMERS MARKET: The Town of Greenfield Historical Society and the Town of Greenfield present the 11th anniversar­y season of the Greenfield Farmers Market, running every Friday from 4 p.m. - 7 p.m. in Middle Grove Park on Middle Grove Road through the second week in September. The market will feature fresh vegetables and produce, honey, maple syrup, fresh eggs, specialty olive oils and spices, fresh fruits, baked goods, home-made pickles, local crafts and much more. The Historical Society will also be offering tours of Historic Odd-Fellows Hall – located just next to Middle Grove Park. HISTORY STROLL: Saratoga Spa State Park docent programs will be offered daily through Labor Day Monday, September 4. Discover park history on a short walk to learn about historic uses for mineral waters, the 1930s spa complex for research and medical treatment, and other park history highlights. Program meets up at 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. at the arcade, outside the administra­tion building, 19 Roosevelt Drive, Saratoga Springs.
