The Suburban Council announced its list of boys volleyball all-stars, led by Shen’s Brendan Spulnick with 91 votes and Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake’s Brade Albright with 78 votes.

Ed Benway led the way for Post Time with 26 points, Jim Eliopulos added 22 points, and Don Davis with 18 points. D’Andrea’s Charlie Maurer was the game’s top scorer with 32 points. Jim Puleo added 11 and Tim Ward 10 in defeat. GENNARO’S PIZZA 77, JONES STEVES 53 » Kevin Reilly’s game-high 32 points topped Gennaro’s in a win over Jones Steves. ADIRONADAC­K THUNDER 4, QUAD CITY MALLARDS 1 » The Adirondack Thunder returned to winning ways with a 4-1 victory over the Quad City Mallards on Wednesday at the Tax Slayer Center. The victory improved the Thunder to 2-2 on its current road trip.

Adirondack (opened the scoring 6:56 into the game as forward Terrence Wallin collected his fourth goal of the season. Defenseman Conor Riley fired a shot towards the net, which was stopped by Quad City netminder Ivan Kulbakov, but Wallin crashed the net and buried the rebound at the back post for the game’s first goal. Riley and forward Paul Rodrigues collected the assists on the play, the first point of the season for Riley.

Adirondack now travels to Kalamazoo as it begins a three-in-three set this weekend, starting on Friday evening at 7:00 p.m.
