Hike the short section of the Western Ridge trail to the Eastern Ridge trail. From there, hike all of the Eastern Ridge trail to the Ridge Run trail, then connect onto the Western Ridge which will take you back to the Spring Overlook parking. GREENWICH FREE LIBRARY: It’s been five years since the Willard Mountain Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution commissioned photographer Clifford Oliver to copy a photograph of the John Henry family of Whitehall. The Whitehall Historical Association gave Oliver access to a rare Victorian photo album that housed some one hundred and twentysix photographs of mostly African American citizens. In honor of Black History Month, Oliver will present an update on the vintage family photographs at 11 a.m. at the Greenwich Free Library, 148 Main Street #2 in Greenwich. KRAZY DOWNHILL DERBY: What is the Krazy Downhill Derby? The event hosted by the North Warren Chamber of Commerce kicks off the winter break week for area schools. The Krazy Downhill Derby in Chestertown is turning 42 this year. It takes place Saturday, February 17 beginning at 9:30 a.m. at the Dynamite Hill Recreation Area on Route 8 in Chestertown.
