In August 2012, a team of spoken word artists traveled from Albany to Charlotte, North Carolina to compete against 71 other teams from all over the country. They were the first team to represent Albany in the National Poetry Slam. Local poets Elizabeth Gordon, D. OLD SARATOGA REFORMED CHURCH: An Easter Sunday Communion Service will be held at Old Saratoga Reformed Church at 10 a.m. on Sunday, April 1. Pastor Joyce deVelder will preach an Easter message, and the Chancel Choir will sing. Following the service there will be a Fellowship Hour. The sanctuary is accessible by a wheelchair platform lift.
