4 face DWI charges in separate arrests
MALTA, N.Y. » State police made three recent separate arrests for drinking and driving.
Steven K. Hrycszyn, 24, of South Glens Falls, was charged with driving while intoxicated on Sunday. While on patrol, troopers on Dunning Street observed a gray Hyundai Sonata fail to stay in its lane. Upon conducting a motor vehicle stop and interview of the driver, Hrycszyn exhibited signs of alcohol impairment.
He was subsequently given standard field sobriety tests and arrested for DWI. Hrycszyn was later tested to have an 0.24 percent blood alcohol concentration. He is scheduled to appear in Town of Malta Court on April 12.
On Saturday night, Ryan Finn, of Malta, was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated after his damaged vehicle was located on the shoulder of I-87, near exit 10. An investigation determined that Finn was intoxicated with a blood alcohol content of .19 percent.
He was issued tickets to appear in Town of Clifton Park Court at a later date.
On March 14, troopers on patrol
in Schuylerville saw a black Dodge Ram turn onto Broad Street without a signal. Troopers stopped the vehicle and subsequently charged John B. Gann, 30, of Greenwich, with driving while intoxicated and unlawful possession of marijuana.
He is expected to appear before a Department of Motor Vehicles law judge for refusing to provide breath sample, and was expected in Town of Saratoga Court on Tuesday.
On March 17, William W. Mooney, 33, of Saratoga Springs, was charged with driving while intoxicated when troopers on patrol on in Saratoga Springs observed the operator of a white Ford pickup truck driving on Nelson Avenue without a seatbelt. After stopping Mooney, troopers detected alcohol and determined that he had been drinking alcohol earlier in the evening.
Mooney was later tested to have an 0.24 percent blood alcohol concentration. He is scheduled to appear in the City of Saratoga Springs Court on Friday.
