JAZZ FLOW: As part of Freihofer’s Jazz Fest Friday, in partnership with Saratoga Performing Arts Center and the Saratoga County Chamber of Commerce, the National Museum of Dance presents Jazz Flow, an open house featuring a yoga flow class, aerial yoga demonstrations, and live jazz music from the award-winning trio Out of the Box. DOCUMENTARY FILM SCREENING: “North Pole NY,” a documentary film directed by Ali Cotterill chronicles the story of a historic Christmas theme park and the dreamers who fight to keep it open against all odds. ST. JEAN BAPTISTE DAY: Saint-Jean Baptiste Day is a national holiday in Quebec, brought to Canada by French settlers and celebrated on June 24. La Fédération Franco-Américaine du NY will celebrate the feast of St. John the Baptist with a mass on Sunday, June 24, at 3:30 p.m. at St. Mary of the Assumption Church, 119 Broad Street, Waterford. HALFMOON FARMERS MARKET: The Halfmoon Farmers Market is set to open on Wednesday, June 20 at 3 p.m. To celebrate Opening Day a ribbon cutting will be held at 3 p.m.; refreshments will be served. KARNER BLUE BUTTERFLY WALK: The endangered Karner blue butterfly has two broods every summer. The first brood should emerge late in May and the second in early July. Take a look on the Old Gick Farm Trail for adults that are searching for nectar and mates in the open meadows. The 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. walks will be cancelled if it is raining. Each walk lasts for about an hour. Please park in the lot by the Saratoga Sandplains Sign on Route 50 half a mile north of King Road. Registration is strongly encouraged. Karner Blue Butterfly Walks will be held Wednesdays through June 27.
