By Sports Staff over Guilder­land. Pe­ter O’Toole added 16 of his own and Drew Sig­nor and Tyler Grimes each added nine of their own in the own. Guilder­land’s Ryan Teaney scored 21 points, in­clud­ing a seven for nine per­for­mance from the free throw line.

SCHALMONT 63, LA SALLE 60. La Salle dropped a tough Colo­nial Coun­cil bat­tle at home against Schalmont Tues­day night. La Salle erased an 11 point 3rd quar­ter deficit to tie the game with 40 sec­onds. Schalmont’s Dar­rell Green, LJ Ran­dle, and Shane O’Dell each tal­lied 14 points in the win for Schalmont. La Salle was led by Luke Bour­gault’s 14 points.

TAMARAC 72, BISHOP MAGINN 63: Tamarac picked up the win Tues­day thanks to a 27 point per­for­mance from Bo Cather­wood, who was also three for six from the free throw line. Frank Zotto added 23 points of his own in the win. Bishop Maginn’s McMullen scored 25 points in the loss.

TROY 68, AL­BANY 59 : Troy earned the Sec­tion 2 win over Al­bany Tues­day thanks to a 23 point per­for­mance from Nazaire Mer­ritt. Al­bany’s of­fense was led by Michael Ben­itez, who scored 18 points in the loss. Al­bany’s Tye-Rell Mon­roe and Trevor John­son added eight points apiece.

CATHOLIC CEN­TRAL 47, COHOES 36: Catholic Cen­tral earned the win Tues­day over Cohoes. Jack­son Brown scored 14 and Al’lon Wal­ters scored 13 to power CCHS. Cohoes was led by Troy Sny­der’s 10 points and Ivan Bra­jac scored eight.

MOHONASEN 71, ICHABOD CRANE 27: Mohonasen over­pow­ered Ichabod Crane Tues­day thanks to Dun­can Tall­man’s 27 point per­for­mance. Chase Mon­roe scored nine and Lo­gan Calkins eight as the next high­est scor­ers. ICC’s lead­ing scorer, Kennedy, had seven points.

BETH­LE­HEM 77, SHAKER 53: Beth­le­hem earned the Sub­ur­ban Coun­cil win over Shaker Tues­day af­ter­noon. Beth­le­hem’s Michael Or­tale and Erik Salo each tal­lied 14 points in the win. Shaker’s lead­ing scorer was Trey Mar­i­ano, who scored 16 points.

SHEN 57. NISKAYUNA 51: Shen im­proves to 1-1 over­all this sea­son with the Sub­ur­ban Coun­cil win over Niskayuna Tues­day. For Shen, Devin Dzikas scored 19 points to lead the Plains­man to the win. Niskayuna’s top scorer was, Kelly, who also scored 19.

SHAKER 47, BETH­LE­HEM 40: Maddy Mal­icki scored 13 points and Jules DeBeatham notched 11 in Shaker’s win over Beth­le­hem. Beth­le­hem’s Wise scored 14 in the loss.

HOLY NAMES 51, SCHALMONT 29: Holy Names spread out the floor on their way to the win over Schalmont Tues­day. Grace Field scored 11, Saniyna Adams scored ten for Holy Names in the win. Holy Names had 11 dif­fer­ent scor­ers. Schalmont’s Pay­ton Graber scored 16 and Ha­ley Burch­hardt scored 10 in the loss. and Chris Young a 605 in the loss.

BETH­LE­HEM 17.5, SCH­ENEC­TADY 14.5 (GIRLS): Beth­le­hem knocked down 3043 pins in route to the Sub­ur­ban Coun­cil win over Sch­enec­tady Tues­day night. Sch­enec­tady fin­ished with a 2966 pin to­tal. Beth­le­hem’s top bowler was Madi Rob­bins, who shot a se­ries to­tal 541. Sch­enec­tady’s Katie Polo­maine shot a se­ries to­tal of 588.
