Wil­liam I. White, 85, a res­i­dent of Victory Mills, passed away Sat­ur­day, Jan­uary 12, 2019 at his home sur­rounded by his fam­ily. Born Fe­bru­ary 11, 1933 in Clarks Mills, NY he was the son of the late Edgar W. and Coral Mon­roe White. Wil­liam was a US Army Vet­eran hav­ing served dur­ing the Korean War. He worked as a fore­man for DOT in Schuylerville and was a com­mu­ni­cant of Notre Dame-Vis­i­ta­tion Church. In ad­di­tion to his par­ents, he was pre­de­ceased by 1 son, Wil­liam White; 1 brother, Edgar V. White; and1 sis­ter, Joyce White. Sur­vivors in­clude his wife of 63 years, Agatha White of Victory Mills; 4 sons, Robert (Judith) White, Michael E. White, Pa­trick D. (Jill) White, and Joseph J. (Ab­ner) White; 1 daugh­ter, De­bra (Wil­liam) Brown; 9 grand­chil­dren; 16 great grand­chil­dren, and sev­eral nieces and neph­ews. A fu­neral mass will be cel­e­brated at 10 am Wed­nes­day, Jan­uary 16, 2019 at Notre Dame-Vis­i­ta­tion Church with Rev. Martin Fisher, of­fi­ci­at­ing. Spring burial will be in St. Mary’s Ceme­tery. A re­cep­tion for fam­ily and friends will be held fol­low­ing mass at the David Nevins Com­mu­nity Cen­ter in Victory Mills. Friends may call on Tues­day from 4-7pm at Flynn Bros. Inc. Fu­neral Home, 13 Gates Ave., Schuylerville.
