Supervisor­s approve board appointmen­ts

BALLSTON SPA, N.Y. >> Saratoga County Board of Supervisor­s made numerous appointmen­ts to various boards during the recent 2019 organizati­onal meeting.

Lillian McCarthy of Ballston Spa, Dr. Edmond N. Amyot of Saratoga Springs and Rudolph J. Stutzman of Glens Falls were named to the Community Service Board, charged with advising a local mental hygiene director on policies and performanc­es of local programs.

Galway Supervisor Michael Smith was named to the county Jury Board.

Tom Lewis, Patrick K. Greene and Rod Sutton Jr. of Saratoga Springs, and Michael Mooney of Wilton were named to the Saratoga County Industrial Developmen­t Agency with terms expiring on Dec. 31, 2020.

Karl Hardcastle and Cristina Connolly of Saratoga Springs have been named to the Saratoga Lake Protection and Improvemen­t District with terms expiring on Dec. 31, 2021.

George Cannon of Saratoga Springs and Kyle Fillion of Saratoga Springs, and Richard Doyle of Burnt Hills, have been named

commission­ers of Saratoga County Sewer District No. 1.

Malta Supervisor Darren O’Connor, Stillwater Supervisor Ed Kinowski and land owner Victoria Garlanda of Saratoga Springs have been named to the Saratoga County Soil and Water Conservati­on District board, with terms expiring Dec. 31, 2021.

Anita Daly of Clifton Park, Art Johnson of Wilton and Tim Szczepania­k of Burnt Hills have been named to the Saratoga County Water Authority Board, with terms expiring Dec. 31, 2020.

Daly and Johnson have also been named to the Saratoga County Capital Resource Corp., with terms expiring Dec. 31, 2021.

Thomas Parks of Charlton Police Department, Assistant District Attorney Patrick J. Campion, Timothy Williams of Waterford Police Department, Guy Gurney of Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office, Mickey Mahoney of Saratoga County Probation Department, and Mechanicvi­lle Police Chief William Rabbitt have been named to the Saratoga County Traffic Safety Board, with terms expiring Dec. 31, 2021.

Hadley Supervisor Arthor “Mo” Wright, Ronald Rybicki of Ballston Spa, Robert Hodorowski of Saratoga Springs, and Saratoga County Planner Jason Kemper have been named to the Fish and Wildlife Management Board-Region 5, with terms expiring Dec. 31, 2021.
