SPRING AUTO SHOW: The Saratoga Automobile Museum will host its annual Spring Auto Show on Saturday, May 18 (rain date Sunday, May 19) from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the grounds of Saratoga Spa State Park. The show plays a major role in funding the museum’s distracted driving safety programs, vehicle restoration programs and educational exhibits. The Spring Auto Show engages car lovers of all ages with spectators receiving free entry to this year’s event. As part of this year’s show, there will be a special the matical display of vehicles from the 1960s. This will enhance the Wheels of Change: Cars and Culture of the Sixties exhibit inside the museum. However, vehicles of all makes and models are welcome to register for the Spring Auto Show. Pre-registration for display vehicles is $10, and day of registration is $20. All registered vehicles will receive two regular admission tickets to the Museum and all pre-registered vehicles will receive two spectator’s tickets to this year’s 2019 Saratoga Auto Auction happening at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center on Sept. 20 and 21. Heritage Hunters of Saratoga County will meet on Saturday, May 18th, at 1 pm at the Town of Saratoga Town Hall, corner of Rt. 4 and Rt. 29 in Schuylerville. Lauren Roberts, Saratoga County Historian, will talk about a special collection of 600 original documents gifted to the Historian’s office. The documents, from the late 1700s and early 1800s, were found beneath the attic floorboards in the historic LaRue family farmhouse in Charlton.
