Veterans of Lansingbur­gh 23rd Annual Memorial Day Parade Monday, May 27 11:00 AM

The Veterans of Lansingbur­gh will host the 23rd Annual Memorial Day Parade on Monday, May 27th and will step off at 11:00 a.m. sharp, rain or shine. The Parade route will be from 123rd Street and 5th Avenue; South to 115th Street and 5th Avenue. Turn down 115th Street to 2nd Avenue; North on 2nd Avenue to 121st Street and 2nd Avenue. The Reviewing Stand will be located on the East Side of 2nd Ave. in front of Standard Manufactur­ing Co.

Albany Memorial Day Parade Monday, May 27 9:30 AM

The Albany Memorial Day Parade will be held on Monday, May 27, 2019.

The parade will step off at 9:30 a.m. from the corner of Central Ave. and Quail St. and proceed east on Central Avenue, and continue east on Washington Avenue to Hawk Street. The reviewing stand will be on the steps of the old State Education Building.

Hoosick Falls Memorial Day Parade Monday, May 27 1:30 PM

The parade will step off in the park at 10 am. The parade will end assembled in the parkwhile Memorial Day Ceremonies will be held concluding with the “National Anthem,” played by the HFCS Band.

Sand Lake Memorial Day Parade & Ceremony Monday, May 27 10:00 AM

The Parade route is from Averill Ave. in Westfall Village to the Sand Lake Veteran’s Memorial Park on NYS Route 43. Ceremonies will begin at about 10:30 in the Park. This year’s parade theme is the 75th Anniversar­y of the D-Day landings on the Normandy Beaches.

Castleton-on-Hudson/Schodack Memorial Day Parade Monday, May 27 10:00 AM

The annual Castleton-onHudson/Schodack Memorial Day Parade will step off at 10 a.m. from Boltwood Avenue at Seaman Avenue.

The theme of the parade is “Honoring Those Who Served Our Country to Insure Our Freedom.” Serving as Grand Marshall this year is Domenick Ercolano (WWII Veteran) from Peter Andrews VFW Post. The Community Appreciati­on Award will be given to Jerry Robinson (Vietnam Veteran). The guest speaker will be Ken Holmes (Gulf War Veteran). Please join us in honoring our veterans.

The Nassau Memorial Day Parade Monday, May 27 2:00 PM

The parade will step off at 2 pm on John Street, there will be a ceremony to follow at the VFW Post #8162 on Lyons Lake Road.

56th Hilltowns Memorial Day Parade Monday, May 27 10:00AM -12:00 PM

The 56th Hilltowns Memorial Day Parade, sponsored by the Helderberg Kiwanis, is both a celebratio­n and a memorial event commemorat­ing those who have been lost during military service to our country. This year’s theme is “Honor and Sacrifice.”

The parade begins at 10:00 am and proceeds westward through the village of Berne, NY (12023) on Route 443. The ceremony is followed by awards for parade participan­ts. In addition, local historical societies will have on display their collection­s honoring local veterans with pictures and memorabili­a. All are welcome to join this family-friendly, free, community event.

Glens Falls Memorial Day Parade Monday, May 27 10:00 AM

Join us at our annual parade with the communitie­s of Queensbury and the City of Glens Falls to honor all who have given the highest sacrifice for our country.

The parade will begin near the TD Bank in downtown Glens Falls, run from Maple Street to the monument on Glen Street, and then head north to the YMCA and Crandall Park. Remembranc­e ceremony immediatel­y following the parade.

Memorial Day Service at American Legion Post on Grooms Road Monday, May 27 11:00 AM

Post Commander John Lepine is pleased to invite the Public to attend our Annual Memorial Day Ceremony to be held at the American Legion’s Covered Pavilion at 275 Grooms Rd in Clifton Park on Monday, May 27th, at 11 AM. Refreshmen­ts will be served immediatel­y following the ceremony.

North Greenbush Memorial Day Parade Monday, May 27 1:30 PM

The North Greenbush Parade lineup begins at Town Hall, with the step off at 1:30pm.

The parade route then goes down Main Ave to Rte 150 to Marion Ave to Brookside Ave back to Main Ave to Town Hall.

At that time there will be ceremonies in front of Town Hall followed by a picnic in the back of Town Hall and at the American Legion. Please come and join the community in honoring our Veterans.

Poestenkil­l Annual Memorial Day Parade Monday, May 27 11:00 AM

They rally for the parade in the field across from the VFW building at 10 am and that parade steps off at 11 am.
