More than a dozen arrested on drug charges

SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. >> The combined efforts of the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office and the Saratoga Springs Police Department resulted in a total of 14 drug-related arrests that targeted the possession and sales of illicit drugs in the Saratoga Springs area.

Over the course of the twoday operation on July 2 and 3 the following arrests and charges were made:

146 traffic stops, 51 traffic tickets, 14 penal law arrests, seven felonies, 13 misdemeano­rs, three violations and one fugitive from justice charge.

Individual­s charged include:

• Robert Schumann, 39, of Richmondvi­lle, Virginia, charged with one count of fugitive from justice, two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree and false personatio­n.

• Michael Epperson, 42, of Anderson, Indiana, charged with one count of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree.

• Ross Locke, 35, of North Attleborou­gh, Massachuse­tts, charged with one count of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree.

• Aaron Bedard, 27, of North Attleborou­gh, Massachuse­tts, charged with one count of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree and one count of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the fourth degree.

• Kyle Sarzin, 30, of North Attleborou­gh, Massachuse­tts, charged with one count of unlawful possession of marijuana.

• Marshall Branch, 32, of Albany, N.Y., charged with one count of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree.

• Sean Halper, 30, of Oxford, Massachuse­tts, charged with charged with one count of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree and one count of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the fourth degree, and one count of criminal sale of a controlled substance in the fifth degree, all LSD.

• Jonathan Theriault, 33, of Worcester, Massachuse­tts, charged with one count of Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance on the Fifth Degree, LSD.
