Angel A. Maysonet, 25, was driving a black 2014 Mercedes-Benz four-door sedan at approximately 9:59 a.m on Oct. 10 when State Police observed the vehicle speeding south on the Adirondack Northway in the area of exit 26.
The trooper initially spotting the vehicle attempted to catch up to it to initiate a traffic stop. Maysonet increased speed to approximately 133 mph, according to police, and the Trooper lost sight of the vehicle.
A second unit located between exits 19 and 20 observed the vehicle continuing to travel southbound at a high rate of speed and attempted to stop the vehicle.
